  • Senior Middle Office hire for significant US based fund who launched a satellite office in London last year – the role will report into the UK Head of Operations and cover the full trade life cycle. The ideal candidate will have buyside experience and an in depth understanding of equity swaps. Role paying up to £70k base with strong bonus potential.
  • 6 month fixed term contract with a market leading multi-strat hedge fund. The hire is covering for a senior member of staff who is taking a period of extended leave and as such, the fund have budget up to £80k base (pro-rata). Exposure to Fixed Income Bond and Repo & OTC Derivatives (mainly Interest Rates, but also Credit and Equity) is beneficial. Part of the role is to supervise more junior members of staff and as such, previous management experience is preferable.
  • Junior Fund Accountant position with a leading hedge fund located in Mayfair – successful candidate will have 1-2 years Fund Accounting experience within a bank or fund administrator and would be looking to make the move into a fund. Paying up to £60k + bonus.
  • An award winning hedge fund is looking to make their first growth hire of the year within their Middle Office function. Due to the funds strategy the successful candidate will gain exposure to a range of asset classes and their respective portfolio managers, with whom there would be daily interaction given the teams proximity to the trading desk. The hiring manager has a strong preference for someone coming from a Fixed Income background and 1-3 years’ experience in an investment bank, P&L or risk coverage would also be beneficial in this seat. The role has come about through an internal move onto another team and whilst they want someone who has an interest in the role as it is in the first instance, the fund has an excellent track record for moving people internally – including onto the trading desk.

Whilst the company have a track record of hiring from the banks into this team, the line manager will also consider buyside profiles. Salary will be driven by the experience level of the candidate but there is budget up to £60k base plus discretionary bonus.

  • Distressed Debt/Emerging markets fund are looking to add a Senior Middle Office Specialist to their operations team – role will work directly with the Head of Operations and will include international travel. Preferred candidate will have 6-10 years relevant experience with exposure to bank debt/loans and LMA/LSTA documentation. Paying up to £80k depending on experience.
